This is Buxton Real Ale -

Based in Buxton in Derbyshire, we are a young brewery company, set up in 2008, with a determination to provide our customers with top quality beer products at a competitive price. Quality and consistency are the mainstay of a successful brewery, and those are the two prime drivers behind our set-up.

We moved into our current premises in December 2009 and full production started in January 2010.

All of our beers are brewed using the famously pure Buxton mineral water, which means our beers are completely free from chemicals and additives found in tap water, this helps impart a clean, crisp taste and flavour profile to the beers.

All of our beers are available in 9 gall cask conditioned form, or in bottles. We can supply bottles in 500ml and some of the beers, in 330ml size. All our bottled beer is bottle conditioned. This means that the beer has some yeast left in to help produce a secondary fermentation in the bottle which produces a natural, gentle level of carbonation. Our beer is not filtered, pasteurised or artificially carbonated; 100% natural, with only 4 ingredients - water, malt, hops and yeast.

We currently have two beer brands in production from the same brew-house; BUXTON REAL ALE and WILD WALKER BREWING. A third, exciting new brand is coming on-line in the next few months; we have been licensed by Hammer Films to produce and market a range of beers themed on the classic and modern Hammer House Of Horror movies and TV series:HAMMER HOUSE OF BEER.
